I love my new cap-toe pumps from J. Crew. I wanted something for work that wasn’t too high, pretty but not too stylish, and durable enough to take a beating from what I assume is a harsh walking style (I don’t weigh a lot but I’m pretty hard on shoes). This is my first pair of shoes from J. Crew and the size 5 fits perfectly with no space in the back. I was apprehensive about how stiff they felt at first, and wasn’t sure if I should return them or let them break in. I kept them, and fortunately, they broke in very well. It took longer than most shoes but now the leather is perfectly molded to my feet and they’re very comfortable. They’re 25% off until Thursday night so head to J.Crew and check them out! I also needwant need the wool, calf hair, and suede pairs in the same style.

I have a sweater in the same print and I was hoping to have some chickens in my backyard by now so I could wear my chicken sweater while tending to my chickens like the big dork that I am but for now, I’m chickenless, so I’ll just wear the sweater with a big chicken-shaped hole in my heart.
