Greetings from Whistler!
I’m super excited to be spending Christmas in Whistler with my family since it is one of my favorite cities in the world. So far everything has been amazing – strolling in the village, staying in to cook and watch movies, grocery shopping, and of course skiing (Blackcomb got a huge dump of snow and is expecting more!). Just a few days before leaving I realized that I needed a pair of waterproof snow boots, so I quickly ordered several pairs on Zappos, which arrived literally the morning of the day we were leaving (thank God for Zappos’ super fast shipping!). My two favorite pairs were the North Face Shellista boots and SOREL Tofino Herringbone boots. I picked the North Face pair based on comfort and coverage and I’m so glad I did. They’re the only footwear I brought with me to Whistler other than ski boots and they’ve proven to be suuuper warm and comfortable.
