As soon as I tried this t-shirt on, I liked the substantial material. I also like the neckline – nice V, not too deep – and the subtle but pretty jewels on the shoulders. In this hot weather I love having slightly more dressier tees that I can wear to work. I’ve worn this all white outfit, with the jewelled tee and linen skirt, on several occasions already. After avoiding white outfits due to the challenge of finding appropriate underwear I’ve now learned what works and doesn’t work under white and other slightly sheer clothing. Bras and panties should be in a nude color, not white, and they must be in a smooth and seamless material, especially panties because panty lines are the worst. So avoid lacy, “fancy” bras with detailing. The good news is, you don’t have to wear a thong, hooray! My favourite brand for white-clothing-appropriate underwear is Calvin Klein. Their bras and panties are a little bit on the expensive side but trust me, it’s so worth it, because they will keep their shape and won’t fall apart after the first wash (I’m looking at you $4 F21 bra). I recommend this bra and this bra, the “Invisibles” panties and these seamless hipster briefs. The Invisibles panties have seamless edges that don’t show through pants and skirts at all. They are seriously amazing. To quote Flanders from the Simpsons, I feel like I’m wearing nothing at all! The seamless hipster briefs are super cute and comfortable boy shorts and they’re a thicker alternative to the Invisibles.
