I’m wearing: Emerson Fry coat, Theory blouse (similar look on sale / chic v-neck style / short-sleeve version), J. Crew Collection pants (25% orders of $150+ with code SHOPNOW), Christian Louboutin pumps, Damsel x Gorjana High Line rings, 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target bag, and Estee Lauder lipstick in Rose Tea.
The crisp, cool, and dry fall feather that we’ve been having in Vancouver is rare (for its lack of rain) and absolutely amazing! I love being able to walk outside for coffee, lunch, or just because. I’ve been looking for a heavy duty fall coat for a while, and I was thrilled when I found this one. Everything in Emerson Fry’s collection is on point.
What I’ve been up to lately:
– Work – busy and challenging as usual with some travel thrown in
– Soccer – I love my team. We work hard at games and practices, and get together off the field at Whitecaps games, dinners, and froyo. Such a fun and committed group of people. Love them!
– Running – I ran with a running group for the first time last night. Almost died. Will probably go again. I’m running a 10km race in three weeks so it’s time to do some hardcore training.
– Books – I had the pleasure of listening to a talk by Malcolm Gladwell at Microsoft recently and was given a copy of David and Goliath by my friend Suhail, which I finished the same weekend. Loved it. I love Gladwell’s storytelling style. My favorite books of his are Outliers and What the Dog Saw. His essay in the New Yorker (now published in David and Goliath) about an underdog highschool basketball team resonates with me strongly.
Have you read any good books lately?
