Summer Dressing: Trina Turk for Banana Republic

The Trina Turk for Banana Republic dress that I’m wearing is perfect for summer social activities like rooftop parties, backyard barbeques, and patio brunches. It has really wild prints that look like under-the-sea plants. It has so many colors that you can accessorize with any of the colors shown on the dress. I’ve accessorized it in two different ways. In the first one, I’m wearing a black weaved skinny belt with a black striped wide brimmed hat, which gives it a 60s garden-party vibe in my opinion. I tried numerous pairs of designer glasses but none of them fit my face. It’s tough finding sunglasses that fit Asian faces. I tried this $14 pair from Joe Fresh on while waiting in line and they were perfect! What a find!

We dressed up Alyssa’s dead myrtle with the colorful silk belt that came with the dress. Sadly, the plant did not come back to life. Can you see me waving my arms in the reflection?
