Racinne Delicare Line for Sensitive Skin (and a GIVEAWAY!)

Hi everyone! In my last beauty post I talked about discovering Korean skincare brand Racinne (available in Canada) and some of my favorite products from their line. In this post I’m going to focus on Racinne’s Delicare Perfection line, designed specifically for sensitive skin. I have sensitive skin, which flares up in cold and dry weather, and I know a lot of my readers and friends have sensitive skin as well. The Delicare line is free of 10 common skin irritants, such as fragrance, parabens, mineral oil, and petrolatum. Racinne is giving 4 of my readers their own set of Delicare Perfection products! Products I tried in the Racinne Delicare line:

The Delicare Soothing Cleansing Cream is a gentle cleansing cream that removes makeup without stripping the skin’s natural oils. It has a creamy, non-oily texture that felt gentle on my skin and didn’t foam, indicating that it doesn’t contain drying foaming agents. I gave my skin a gentle massage with it and my skin felt soft, refreshed and clean afterwards. I was thrilled to learn that this cleanser is suitable for people with lash extensions. I wear lash extensions and want them to last as long as possible in between refills. My lash technician instructed me to clean my lashes with a gentle, oil-free cleanser with my fingertips after workouts. This cleanser was the perfect fit for that and I’m happy to have a cleanser that’s suitable for my face and my lashes. How awesome is that!

After cleansing I use toner on a cotton pad to wipe off any excess impurities, and follow with Racinne’s Delicare Perfection Soothing Serum for Sensitive Skin. I talked about it here as one of my favorite Racinne products. It makes my skin ultra soft. It’s the perfect primer for moisturizer, cream, or a tinted moisturizer. It makes whatever product I layer on top absorb better and apply more evenly. I love it!

I finished my container of Racinne Hydra Perfection Ultimate Defence Illuminating Cream, which has been one of my skin-saving must-haves throughout the dry winter, so I’ve been using the Delicare Perfection Soothing Cream in its place as the final step in my skincare regimen. It contains several hydrating ingredients such as shea butter, sunflower seed oil, and Vitamin E. It’s a soft, light, and easily absorbed cream that felt great on my face. I smooth on about a dime sized amount and my skin totally drank it up. My face felt moisturized and soft and looked supple and healthy all day. For a light cream that’s designed for sensitive skin, it totally exceeded my expectations in the moisturizing department. I was impressed by how much I liked it and it has become an everyday staple. It’s not greasy at all but also not so light that my skin needed more. It’s a lot lighter than Racinne’s Hydra Perfection Ultimate Defence Illuminating Cream, so it’s well suited as a daytime cream or on days when your skin doesn’t need as much.

All in all, I recommend Racinne’s Delicare Perfection line. It leaves out common skin irritants but packs it full of moisturizing and soothing ingredients.
