We were blessed with beautiful weather in Vancouver this weekend. The sun came out and it felt like the dark and rainy days were finally behind us. Our apartment was brightly lit from the sun all weekend and I actually needed to wear sunglasses outside! It had a very positive effect on my mood. It was the perfect weekend for Damon and I to celebrate our one year first-date-anniversary.
Despite the sunny weather, it’s still unseasonably cold right now so a warm jacket remains a necessity. I’ve been wearing a warm and stylish one from Canadian outerwear label Noize to work. It has an asymmetrical zipper, a sweetheart shaped hood, and a ribbed quilted body that gives it a nice texture. I love that the cinched waistline makes it look less bulky and more feminine. I walk to work every day and 99% of the time I don’t bring an umbrella, so I rely entirely on hooded jackets to protect my head from the rain. The hood on this jacket fits over my head perfectly – it blocks the rain but not my eyes.
