Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, Chantecaille Rice and Geranimum Foaming Cleanser, La Mer The Reparative Skin Tint SPF 30
Here are some beauty products that have become a regular part of my skincare routine.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream: This was one of those beauty purchases that I expected to return. I decided to give it a try but I’m often wary of products that are very hyped and expensive. I didn’t expect it to become an essential part of my beauty routine. It’s an amazing day cream. It’s rich enough to combat winter dryness but sinks into my skin completely for a soft and smooth finish that creates the perfect base for makeup. A little bit of it goes a long way. I can see the jar lasting a long time, which is good, because it’s expensive. Charlotte Tilbury has a video tutorial on how to massage it in for the best results. I plan to buy this again after I finish my first jar. I’m currently using a sample of the new Magic Night Cream, review to come. You can buy the Magic Day Cream at Nordstrom, CharlotteTilbury.com, Net-a-Porter, and Bergdorf Goodman.
Laneige Water Bank Sleeping Mask: Feels like a cool dose of concentrated water. I love the texture. I slather it on before bed and wake up to soft and hydrated skin. Only $30 CAD for 2.7 oz. Available at Sephora, Target, and Amazon. It’s also a part of the Laneige Hydration Trial kit.
Chantecaille Rice & Geranium Foaming Cleanser: This is the most expensive cleanser I have ever purchased and I guess the risk of buying an expensive cleanser is that you might love it. It’s a creamy foaming cleanser that has little exfoliating rice bran beads. It’s a very gentle cleanser that leaves my skin clean, soft, and moisturized. It has a light and floral fragrance that’s made up of rose, geranium and orange blossom. It’s one of the best cleansers I’ve ever tried. This cleanser was my first introduction to Chantecaille and makes me want to try more products from the brand. It’s available at Nordstrom, SpaceNK, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
La Mer The Reparative Skintint SPF 30: I wanted a tinted moisturizer that provided coverage, matched my skin tone, contained sunscreen, and was hydrating enough to feel like a moisturizer. La Mer’s The Reparative Skin Tint delivers on all those things. It’s quite thick, so the texture is similar to a BB cream. I wear the color ‘Light’ and it’s a good match for my skin. I apply a small amount with my fingers after applying the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream and it evens out my skin, covers small imperfections and gives my face a nice healthy glow. I love that it has sunscreen, which makes it perfect for ski days. It’s available at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, and Selfridges.
