I’m excited to show you two of my favorite workwear pieces: the MM.LaFleur Tory Dress and the MM.LaFleur Ono Cardigan. I think both pieces are super flattering, versatile, petite-friendly, and corporate office appropriate.
MM.LaFleur Tory Dress
The Tory Dress is a beautiful black work dress that mimics a classic wrap dress silhouette (without the potential wardrobe malfunction). It drapes beautifully and it’s a perfect office-to-date-night kind of dress. I love the soft shoulders and rolled sleeves. Did you know this dress had a 900-person waiting list when it first came out? It has since been restocked in a wide range of sizes and is very petite-friendly. I’m wearing oP and no alterations were required.
MM.LaFleur Ono Cardigan
I think all petite women should own a long black cardigan in their wardrobe. I’m 5′ tall and while I love regular length cardigans, they have to fall at the right place at my waist otherwise I can look shorter. Long cardigans, on the other hand, fall at approximately the same length as dresses and skirts, and gives a flattering and elongating effect. The thigh-skimming Ono cardigan, made from 100% merino wool, features details like pockets and side vents, elevating a basic cardigan to stylish status. For something similar at a lower price point, this long wool-cashmere cardigan is on sale for around $100.
I’ve accessorized with oversized Les Specs sunglasses, a Gorjana necklace, a Saint Laurent bag, and Kate Spade pumps in a snakeskin pattern.
What are your go-to workwear pieces? I’d love to know!
