Damon and I have been making the most of our time together before our baby comes and I’m having a lot of fun finding new restaurants for us to try and new neighbourhoods to explore. Not being able to see family and friends or travel means our weekends are free to spend with each other, but I want to be intentional with that time so that we have something to look forward to every week and that weekends don’t just disappear in front of our eyes. It feels like we’re dating again and I love it. Usually our weekends will include a meal at new-to-us restaurants, baby related errands, and a walk in a new neighbourhood if the weather permits. This weekend we had a delicious brunch at Published on Main followed by stroller shopping. I made an effort to change out of my usual onesie uniform and put on something nice. I wore the M.M.LaFleur “Doris” shift dress (on sale for nearly 50% off) and the M.M.LaFleur “Morandi” wool wrap sweater (on sale), which I own in three colors. They’re all non-maternity items that work perfectly for pregnancy.
When I read that a M.M.LaFleur employee wore the Doris dress throughout all nine months of her pregnancy, I had to give it a try. I’m wearing an XS and there’s definitely plenty of space for my bump!
The Morandi sweater that I’m wearing (worn here previously on my blog) comes in a baby version and I mean…isn’t that the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?!
Let me know if there’s a restaurant in Vancouver that we should try!
