If you’ve followed my blog for a while, know me personally, or work with me, you know that I’ve shopped at J.Crew for many years and own a lot of J.Crew in my wardrobe. I recommend J.Crew for everything from chic workwear, high quality cashmere, to gifts for your mother-in-law. As a professional woman working in a corporate job, I want quality pieces that look great season after season. One of the things I love most about J.Crew is that there’s longevity in their fabrics designs. I’ve experienced the longevity of their styles first hand as many of dresses, sweaters and shoes I still wear regularly were purchased many seasons ago.
“J.Crew Icon” pieces” are the longevity pieces that outlast the trends of the current season and will remain loved and worn in your wardrobe long after. Those are the pieces that J.Crew brings back year after year. I’m wearing three of them in this blog post and I’ll be hosting an event at the J.Crew Vancouver Robson location on November 1 to highlight my favorite Icon pieces, shop with you, and to hang out! (see details and RSVP at the end of the post)
I’m wearing a belted merino wool shirtdress (I love the contrast piping) with suede pumps (J.Crew’s latest iteration is the Lucie suede pump) and a rose gold hinge bracelet. Dress and bracelet were provided courtesy of J.Crew Robson. Everything I’m wearing can be shopped at the Robson store. Other Icon pieces I love that you should check out are:
- The Resume dress, which I own in three colors
- The merino wool Tippi sweater (I seriously own so many of these)
- The variety of high waisted jeans (they fit really well and look very flattering)
- Slim perfect t-shirts in a longer short-sleeve that are so chic and versatile (I just bought one in stripe).
- J.Crew’s classic coats that they bring back year after year.
