We all need a dress that makes us feel sexy. The Rachel dress from MM.Lafleur hugs the body in a figure-flattering way and shows just enough – but not too much – décolletage. I love the colour and I’ve yet to see anybody that didn’t look good wearing a deep red (plum, burgundy, all the wine names, etc.). It goes well with a blazer for a more conservative office look or on its own for a nice night out. My trench jacket is similar to this trench-blazer hybrid from MM.LaFleur, which is a nice alternative to all the long coats I have in my wardrobe.
I think you can go as minimalist or as adventurous as you like to accessorize this dress. That’s the beauty of wearing solid colour sheath dresses – you can really make the style your own. I kept it simple with a bar necklace and my every day watch.
Next time I update will be from another continent! I’m leaving on a 15 hour flight to China tomorrow morning. Have I packed for my 3 week trip yet? Nope! Is anyone else a totally last minute packer? I’ll be updating my blog regularly and there’s a lot of great content that I’m excited to share with you over the course of the next few weeks. I’m excited to share my travel stories with you as well.
Thanks for reading!
