You know what makes me smile? Whenever I see a man walking down the street with a bouquet of flowers. It’s just the sweetest thing ever and I know that whoever he’s bringing them to will be so surprised and happy. Valentine’s Day is coming up and I can’t wait to see flowers and heart shaped things pop up everywhere. I couldn’t resist ordering Valentine’s Day themed X and O shirts for Damon and myself. I wonder how much bribing I’ll need to do to get him to wear them with me. I also ordered this varsity style xoxo tee, which looks so cute. The shop ships internationally and you get can $5 off your order with code liu5.
So fyi this is totally not sponsored, but it’s something that’s made me very happy so I want to tell you guys about it. Have you heard of DoorDash? We just got it in Vancouver and it’s made my life so much easier on several occasions. It’s a food delivery service that delivers from your favorite restaurants nearby for a flat fee. I live in downtown Vancouver and can walk to many restaurants, but sometimes you just don’t want to go out in the cold, you know? For example, on Sunday night, I was on my couch working in my mermaid blanket (true story) and didn’t feel like moving from that position. I used the app and ordered Malaysian food from my favorite Malaysian restaurant (Banana Leaf) that doesn’t do delivery on their own and my food was at my door in under an hour. The app is very easy to use (reminds me of New York’s Postmates app) and I have a feeling this is going to be like Uber – convenient but dangerous for your wallet. You can get your first delivery free if you sign up with my referral link. Let me know if you use it!
