My boyfriend and I spent Saturday afternoon having brunch with his family and then going to a Christmas tree lot to pick a tree for his sister and her boyfriend. It was actually my first time at a Christmas tree lot and I loved it! I’ve never picked out a real tree before and it felt so festive, made even more so by the snow on the ground (such a treat for Vancouver). It smelled so nice and fresh at the lot. Since we have a fake tree (strata rules) I guess I’ll try to recreate the smell with a pine scented candle, haha. I loved seeing people strap their bundled up trees to the top of their cars, it is such a quintessential Christmas image.
