My outfit in this post consists of some of my favorite cozy additions to my winter wardrobe: a Free People teddy peacoat, Ugg Bailey Button II boots, a Tory Burch striped sweater, and a Tory Burch logo loop collar necklace. I’m also wearing an older but still loved pair of high waisted leggings by Yummie.
Free People Teddy Peacoat
I didn’t expect to love the teddy coat as much as I do. I tend to go for more fitted styles, but this slightly oversized coat is soft, cozy, SO cuddly, and great for throwing on over casual or dressy styles. I wore it on my birthday afternoon tea. I’ve received compliments on it everywhere I go and I’m so glad I bought it! It’s available here and here.
Ugg Bailey Button II boots
These are my first pair of Ugg boots (ever), and before I bought them I tried on a few pairs, bought and returned a pair, and did some research before choosing the Bailey Button II style. I wanted something to keep my feet warm in classrooms and in chilly photography studios but also cute to look at and comfortable to walk in. I love that I can fold the ankle part over to show off the fluffy fleece lining, or button it up to keep my ankles warm. They keep my feet toasty and I actually look forward to leaving for school so I can put them on. Sometimes I look at them longingly when I get dressed for work, lol.
Remember when Ugg boots first came out and they looked super gross because everyone’s Uggs looked so worn out in the rain? Ugg boots now come pretreated to repel water and stains, so while I’m going to avoid puddles, they should be able to handle regular Vancouver wear and tear.
I’m pretty thrilled about my new cozy items and I was excited to shoot them all at once. Details below.
