I was really excited to attend the Tommy Hilfiger show, which was held offsite at the Park Armory on the Upper East Side. I had a quick breakfast uptown then cabbed to the show, and as I walked to the stairs to the entrance there was suddenly a huge swarm of photographers moving at high speed, rushing to an area right in front of me, blocking my path. I looked up to the steps and there was the amazing Chiara Ferragni, the first fashion blogger I ever followed, posing for the photographers (you can see the crazy scene I witnessed in a video of her day here). She is a huge inspiration to me. Chiara was not the only star at the show – there were other big names of fashion blogging, Kendall Jenner on the runway, and industry veterans like Bill Cunningham in the front row. To this amazing show I wore couture brands from the House of of Banana Republic and the House of J.Crew :). It was a really hot and stuffy day, the kind that makes you sweat even when you’re motionless, and there was so much pressure in the air, making me wish it would just rain already. I was glad that I wore an outfit that was comfortable, breathable, and sweat-able.
