VINCE CAMUTO Lorenza Bootie and JOE’S Flawless-Honey Curvy Skinny Jeans
I’m very into watching stand-up comedy lately. I love storytelling and I love to laugh. I relate 100% to Audrey Hepburn who said, “I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it’s the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It’s probably the most important thing in a person.”
Netflix has an impressive number of stand-up specials you can watch. I’ve discovered comedians I wouldn’t have heard of otherwise. I recommend:
Mike Birbiglia My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend – Best storytelling I have heard heard. So good. You might know Mike Birbiglia as the sister’s husband in Trainwreck.
Trevor Noah African American. This guy is hilarious! His observations on culture reminds me a little bit of early Russel Peters. He’s currently the host of the Daily Show, succeeding Jon Stewart. I love his sense of humor and have just a little crush on him.
Eddie Murphy Delirious – A classic. Pretty incredible considering it was released in 1983. Boundary-pushing for that time for sure.
For live comedy in Vancouver I recommend Yuk Yuk’s and the Comedy Mix.
Do you have any recommendations for funny comedians I should check out?
