I bought this J. Crew trench coat because my Banana Republic parka was getting a little too warm for Vancouver. I wanted a transitional coat that I could wear while the weather was still chilly. A Burberry trench coat was and still is high on my wishlist, but I think this coat will do just fine for now, what do you think?
This weekend was full of amazing food. Friday: Japanese food at Gyoza King. Saturday: homecooked meal c/o the bf. Sunday: a traditional Chinese breakfast consisting of soy milk, Chinese donuts, Chinese donuts dipped in soy milk (possibly my favorite thing of all time), and dumplings. Sunday night: finally bought the Japanese desserts I’ve been craving all weekend at Chicco Cafe on Robson. I had a black sesame parfait and an ice cream macaron to go. How was your weekend?
Last week, after my tennis lesson, I was washing my hands after using the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and saw something interesting in the reflection. I turned around and saw a line up of urinals behind me. They were clean and didn’t look used, so I assumed that the washroom must have been repurposed as a women’s washroom recently. When I walked out I looked back at the door and on it was the sign of a male stick figure. Opps! I guess those were real urinals after all.
Some noteworthy things:
Lacoste for J. Crew – I’m a fan of Lacoste and think this is a great collaboration for J. Crew. I bought the Lacoste for J. Crew men’s polo in bordeaux for my boyfriend and it looks great on him. My bf loves the color and slim fit. The collaboration is also available for women, kids, and baby (so cute).
Le Creuset at Nordstrom – Le Creuset is now available at Nordstrom, so you know, there goes all my money.
