Happy Monday! Weekend was good. Watched Taken 3 with the boyfriend and enjoyed regular comedic interruptions from a man behind us who let out the most unselfconscious and wholehearted “HAHA!” after every cheesy line and plot twist. After a while his laugh became funnier than the movie and had me giggling nonstop. He was having such a great time and it was contagious. Pouting now that I won’t have a weekend with the boyfriend for two weeks, but such is life as a geologist’s girlfriend. He is, however, going to a diamond project, so one can dream right?
My first task of the day at work every morning as per my New Year’s Resolutions is to place a bottle of water on my desk. It’s very effective as a method to increase my hydration because I will always eat/drink whatever is within reach. I have to now get up much more often than usual to use the bathroom though. Pro: Exercise! Con: People might think I’m not working hard enough?
I’ve been styling this grey number in different ways for work ever since I got it. It’s one of those year-round dresses that end up being a great bang for your buck. I’ve worn it with tights, ankle boots, and a cardigan. Here I’m wearing it with a suiting tee, chic pointy pumps, my classic watch, some bling, and white nails (a first for me).
What is your best price-per-wear item this season?
