It was a surprise to me when writing this that all of the hair products I took with me to China are from Bumble and Bumble, since I didn’t use any products from that line until recently. I am very impressed with how effective they are at giving my hair volume, which for someone like me with fine hair is the #1 expectation I have of hair products.
I use Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil shampoo and conditioner, which smell great and give me soft and weightless hair that is also moisturized – a much sought-after balance. After showering I spray Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray several times throughout my hair before blowdrying upside down. The surf spray gives my hair lift, thickness, and a little bit of hold (great when I put my hair up for soccer) without the stiffness and dryness that I’ve experienced with other surf sprays. The best product of the four is Prêt-à-Powder. It does an amazing job of adding volume and thickness to my hair. I lift sections of my hair and tap the powder near my roots, massage it into my hair like I would a shampoo, then run a brush through it out for even distribution. I used to swear by Aveda Pure Abundance hair potion, but Bumble and Bumble Prêt-à-Powder is easier to use and requires much less maintenance, thus making it the winner. After long days and long flights, I love using it to make my hair look fresh.
Do you take hair products with you when you travel? If so, which products do you bring?
