My previous post talked about my Baby #2 wishlist of items over $100, and this one includes items under $100. Like the previous list, many are tried-and-true items that I used with April, and some are new-to-me things recommended by others.
- Petit Bateau bodysuits – I fell in love with Petit Bateau baby clothes when I had April and I still try to get her clothes from the brand when I can, though it’s easier to source newborn clothes here than toddler clothes. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Galleries Lafayette in Paris had a second hand Petit Bateau section, where I found a puffy jacket for April in excellent condition.
- Dr. Brown’s Wide Neck Glass Bottles & Nipples – the best bottles to prevent gas. We need lots of these bottles because baby will be exclusively formula-fed. We also need to get nipples in different levels (increasing flow rates) as baby grows.
- Love to Dream sleep sack – We used the “arms up” sleep sacks for April her entire first year. She slept well in them and looked soooo cute. We’ll need to get NB, S, and M sizes for the first 6 months.
- Wubbanub pacifier – April had several of these and they were her favorite pacifiers.
- Frida Mom Postpartum Abdominal Support
- Baby Einstein Water Playmat – way to ruin the aesthetic, Baby Einstein lol. I didn’t have this with April but it seems fun. One thing I learned with April was that babies love all the bright, tacky colors.
- Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Sound Machine – I was influenced!
- Stroller Footmuff – Stroller footmuffs were my gift of choice for baby shower gifts before I had a baby. They look so cute and cozy and they’re practical too.
- Blooming Baby Bath – I haven’t tried these so I’m not totally sure how they compare to what we had for April, which was a Skip Hop whale sling bathtub, but I do like the idea of being able to use my sink and not having to bend over a bathtub.
- Fridamom cooling donut pillow – A donut pillow was essential after giving birth last time. I wish I had it at the hospital. I also need a peri bottle.
- Bandana Bibs – Cannot have enough bibs because baby will be bottle fed and later when they’re teething for all the baby drool. I love Loulou Lollipop (Vancouver baby brand) and Copper Pearl.
- Frida Baby hair brush and comb – the soft brush was perfect for April’s baby soft hair. I can’t wait to see how much hair baby boy has.
- Nutrafol Postpartum Hair Grow Supplement – This one isn’t in the collage but definitely something I want to have postpartum. I want to keep as much as my pregnancy hair as possible!
