Baby #2 Wishlist (Over $100)

Baby Wishlist Over $100

I’m expecting baby number 2! Because of the almost five year age gap, I’ve sold almost every baby item that I had for April. The only thing we still have is the Uppababy Vista stroller. So I’m basically starting from scratch, but I know exactly what I want this time. Some are things I used and loved the first time, and others are things I wish I had.

  1. Stokke Tripp Trapp High Chair & Newborn Attachment – We’ve had the Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair since April was born (one at our house and one at grandparents) and graduated from the newborn attachment to the baby seat to no attachments at all. It occurred to me only this week that we need a brand new high chair for the new baby, since April uses and will continue to use hers for many more years. The newborn attachment, which we sold as soon as April could sit in the baby seat, was great because it allowed her to be at dining table height with us while we’re eating dinner, and we hung a bumble bee off the hook that she enjoyed punching with her little fist.
  2. Stokke Mini Crib – We had the white version of this crib for April and expanded to the toddler version as she grew. We eventually sold it when she upgraded to a real bed. It’s still my favorite crib. Stokke makes great products. You can see it when I shared photos of April’s nursery.
  3. Bumpsuit Armadillo Baby Carrier – This is the most beautiful baby carrier I’ve ever seen! I love the boucle-style texture. The denim color is gorgeous as well.
  4. MamaRoo Baby Swing – Even though I already have the BabyBjorn bouncer on my list, I know so many moms who swear by this that I want to give it a try this time.
  5. Uppababy Vista Stroller Standing Board – Definitely a Facebook Marketplace purchase
  6. Fresh in Your Fridge Postpartum Meal Prep – I had a postpartum meal delivery service for the first month after giving birth and it was very helpful. That company no longer does full meals, so I looked into other services and Fresh in Your Fridge seems most aligned with my taste.
  7. Alpaca throw – I really really want an alpaca throw. Not wool but 100% baby alpaca (baby reflects quality, not age).
  8. Birkenstock shearling clogs – During my first pregnancy and throughout my first maternity leave I wore out a pair of shearling Birkenstocks. Like the sole was completely worn down. I’m kind of into the look of the closed-toe style and I’d like an easy slip-on shoe. Does this make me granola?
  9. Caraa Baby Bag – I had an Uppababy backpack in the same color and fabric as my Uppababy stroller, and I thought it was the coolest thing to be matchy-matchy, but my backpack was stolen out of my car and the fabric is now discontinued. Of all the backpacks that I looked at, I love the design of the Caraa diaper bag the most, especially the wide opening. The Lululemon diaper bag is a less expensive option that would be great as well.
  10. Owlet sock – the best peace of mind and the only way we could rest without checking April’s breathing every ten minutes. Babies sleep so quietly sometimes! We used this every day when April was a newborn and we joked that we would keep using it until she’s a teenager.
  11. Nanit Baby Monitor – We didn’t have one the first time around but I was always jealous when friends with babies would play the recordings of their babies from the Nanit.
  12. BabyBjorn bouncer – April loved drinking her formula on the bouncer.
